Where Personal and Professional Life Collide...

My life in 8 words: Organized chaos, by preference. Exhausting, but never boring

That Was the Weekend That Was

So this past weekend I:

saw a movie
watched two football games (one a nailbiter and the other a heartbreaker)
read two books (ok, 1 book and 1 manuscript)
chose a designer for the Sylvan Investigations books
baked muffins and quickbread
contemplated the rearrangement of my living space (yes, again)
knitted
cleaned the bathroom
read though my editor's notes on FIXED
took several long naps, intentionally
worked with several clients on their elevator pitches and the fine art of the synopsis

What's conspicuously not listed there? What's that? Writing? Why yes, you're quite right. I suppose I should go do some of that, then....

What's on tap for your Monday?

>What's on tap for your Monday?

TAX RETURN. Auuugh. Actually, I've nearly done it: it hasn't been too bad.

*twitch*

I was supposed to start my prep this weekend. It will haunt me like a nasty parrot until i get started, won't it...?

AUUUUGH!

Once I've done mine I have to do T's.

And it's raining.

I have to ask: which one was the heartbreaker? Seems that several of the games this weekend could have qualified.

Seattle. They were the only remaining team I had any affection for.

Now it's all about hating on the Pats. :-)

(don't start on me, anyone. I don't hate the team but I DO hate Belicheat. He's not yet forgiven for his poor sportsman/spoiled brat behavior after the Superbowl, where he insulted both the Giants and his own team with his actions.)

Typically my playoffs boil down to rooting whomever is playing against the Steelers and the Patriots. (And should they ever make it back to the playoffs, the Cowboys.)

So I'm with you about disliking the Spygate master.

I take it you just became a Ravens fan? ;) (Belicheat behaved that way when they played the Ravens in September, as well, but was caught by NBC's cameras, haha.)

I'm not a Ray Lewis fan, either.
