I'm spending WAY too much time working for the tabloids... I read "Suri" and immediately wondered why you were posting a bibliography about Tom Cruise's kid.

I was here first. Besides, she hits ten and is going to demand that they change her name, anyway...

Oh, I know. Her and my other friend's daughter, who got stuck with the unfortunate moniker Moxie Crimefighter (which is better than her new little brother, Zoltan)

"Not dead yet!!"

(ahem)

Good lord, woman.

I want a body of work like that! (It's a very nice body.)

whereas most days I look at it and think "I need to produce more," especially with regard to the short fiction.

The truth is, I think I've figured out how much I can and will write in a given period, without dropping quality, and short of hiring a houseboy to take care of the day-to-day stuff, there's little chance of that rate increasing any time soon (see post upstream about how long I need to write a 100,000 word book). So migh as well rail at the universe for making me short -- is as it is, and will be as will be.

But for now, yeah, is a nice enough body of work. Long may it remain healthy!

Ninja Meerkats (#1): The Clan of the Scorpion

its a new kids series...
