words d'journal
You sit down. You tell a story. You do it any damn way it comes out that works consistently for you. You hope people like it. You hope people pay you for it. You do it again. And again. That's all I got. Zen and the Art of Writer Maintenance. You can cheer me on and I can cheer you on, but in the end? In the end it's down to how you get your getting done, done. So get it done.

Lion says
Bring it on bring it on.
J'ai un coeur
J'ai un cerveau
And courage isn’t anything you need to push on through
Bring it on bring it on.

Screw Dorothy, and her little dog too.
Bring it on bring it on.
You are flesh, not straw
I am flesh, not tin
Roar and tail and everything in-between
Bring it on bring it on.

Yeah, I've already displayed a little "no tolerance for idiots on the internet" today....

And that's the most awesome thing I've ever seen. My boyfriend would like to add that the OS Swift Kick to the Balls project is the coolest critique on rape he's ever seen. He did not, I might add, volunteer to be kicked in the balls himself.

These at least made me laugh. There's a lot of outrage on my f-list this morning over the original OS that started all of this, which is how I discovered it. While I, too, am outraged, I posted a response that I hope is less an emotional one, and more a detailed list of the sort of dangers something like this opens us up to.

I just want to grab people and shake them, sometimes. (Which, you know, I would never do without first asking permission!) :~|

The Internet is made of no-tolerance-for-idiots today. Yay Internet!

Shall we try again for Zero-Tolerance-for-Idiots again tomorrow?

Please?

I commented twice on this today, once on LJ and once on Scalzi's blog just a few minutes ago.

I...I can't even think straight about it. *headdesk*
