To Jeremy's defence I must say that he told me he had caught a bug or something, and was sick that day (he was OK the Saturday after).

And I had dinner with Diana Rowland while she was wearing her Palin outfit.

And it was also so good to see you and Mary Robinetter and so many other people. World Fantasy is over and I'm already longing for the next.

Finally, my first guess for the 'evil eye' would be Jim Minz, too, but if it isn't him then I'd go for Jonathan Strahan.

Can I ask you a question about the laptop you had at the UW Bookstore? What was it and how do you like it? Would you buy it again?

Okay, technically more than one question, but I'm pushy sometimes.

That was my Asus EEE, I quite adore it, and if I were to do it again I'd buy the newer model, which has a larger screen. (I may yet upgrade, if the price comes down a bit -- it's already inexpensive but I want cheap! *grin*)

I bought mine after seeing kradical with his, and agamisu bought his after seeing mine... viral marketing! Where's my damn check, Asus?
